Im disabled my 7 yr old son is disabled. I also have a 4 yr old who needs to evaluated. I have 2 wonderful cats. I do not and being told by doctor and SSI that I cant work, not to mention how I feel. I have no money a car that really is on its last tire. Thanksgiving and Santa are right around the corner. Instead of how am I gonna get presents, im trying figure out how to keep a roof over our heads. I cry everyday cause I really dont know how I got here when I had a husband and a teenage son! They dont believe theres anything wrong w me and they dont an wont try to understand my 7 yr old conditions. We have no one left to help not even to babysit. I am trying to hide my pain from the boys but its like a waitress pouriing coffee an cant see that the cup is overflowing onto the table. I'm hurt the deepest ive ever been hurt. I dont want to be rich I just want to have enough money to take care of my family. To take the boys to mc d's on fridays for a reward or to chuckiee cheeses wich my 4 yr old keeps askin for. To get a 99 cent toy from the store for them when they behave there. I cant even think about Christmas presents! some body anybody help! I dont know whatelse to say plus its hard to not get my keyboard soaked. Thx for taking the time to read. Bless us all!
Hello, I found this web site while researching for a faith based church that would like someone I know. I do not know how this site works but I am willing to try this site if it will help this person. I know of a person that is in great need. He has been type 2 diabetes since he was 12 years old but recently was told that need a kidney transplantation and Pancreas transplantation. He is currently doing dialay 3 days weeks until he is able to get a donator. He has applied for disability but he was told it will take a while to complete the process and get a check. While going through the process for disability, he has contacted several organizations for rent assistance but they could not help him because he has no current income. This does not make sense to me. If you have income then you do not need them….crazy but true. Most organizations will not help with rent assistance unless you can show income. He was two months behind in his rent but we were able to come up with one month of the two months which kept him off the street for now. His landlord has been working with him but they are requesting the March rent and he must be on time with the April rent. If anyone can help, please let me know. You do not have to give the money to me or him directly but you can give the money to the apartment complex which he live. I do not think this will be a problem with the apartment complex manager since she know about his health problems and he has been a resident at this apartment complex for 3-4 years.
